We will be honored if you can journey through the works of fine art and literature displayed throughout our premises by our predecessors and their friends. In addition, there are works done by other artistic and literary writers who had connections with our property.
In the lobby, please enjoy the collection of art and literature that convey the history of the Meiji Restoration, such as handwritten calligraphy and letters by Kogoro Katsura and samurai, books and Edo-period newspapers that were read by people at the time.
The gallery exhibits Kogoro Katsura's writings and letters, works by painter Hideo Nishiyama, pottery collection by teacher Kondo who had ties to our property.
We hope you will enjoy a little bit of history and literature.
The lounge on the second floor is a gallery of art, calligraphy, and paintings, as well as a small library. You are welcome to read the books and magazines lined up on the bookshelves in the gallery, as well as in the guest rooms, lobby, and elsewhere in the building. From the windows, you can see the close-up view of cherry blossom trees as though you can almost touch them, and in spring, you might be able to view the cherry blossoms in full colorful bloom.
Like the inns of Kinosaki Onsen where you enjoy the soto-yu (outside public baths), our bath is compactly constructed.
You can bathe in the same hot spring water as the soto-yu.
The men's and women's baths are subject to change depending on the number of guests staying.
Visiting the outdoor public baths is one of the true charms of Kinosaki Onsen.
Why not try on a colorful yukata while you're exploring the baths?
Available from April to October.
The annex, built like a traditional Japanese inn, is spacious and has high ceilings, giving it a sense of openness. The entire annex can be rented for 8 people or more, so families and groups can use it without worrying about the people around them. It is located right next to the main building, in the hot spring town, and it is conveniently located for visiting the soto-yu (outside public baths).
A hidden inn a little away from the hot spring town
Seirantei is located a little away from the hustle and bustle of the hot spring town. Enjoy your moment in nature's quite valley to reflect on your thoughts and emotions. The facility can be rented for private use for families or groups of 10 or more.
There is also a "Yutori Gallery" where you can freely enjoy elegant moments with music and books.
