Our famous "kaiseki ryori" or traditional multi-dish cuisine is meticulously prepared by our professional chefs using the freshest seafood caught just off the coast and vegetables from nearby mountains. You can enjoy the delicious snow crab course dinner during the crab season which usually runs from November to mid-March. You can choose from various meal plans. Meals are served in your room.

Katsura Kogoro's favorite food

Grilled Fried Tofu

Enjoy our recreated and arranged "grilled fried tofu" dish while reminiscing about the end of the Edo period. According to Sumiko Hiroe, the younger sister of Hiroto Jinsuke, who looked after Katsura Kogoro when he was hiding out in Izushi, Kogoro preferred to eat fried tofu. There is an episode about Katsura Kogoro, who loved children and often played with the neighbor's children, who ate nothing but grilled fried tofu.

Deep Fried Scorpionfish

Scorpionfish (also known as rockfish) has long been considered an auspicious fish, favored by samurai for its fearless appearance, resembling a warrior clad in armor. This dish is deep-fried whole, head and all, to lock in the flavor, and to enjoy the meat's quality.

A new menu item has been added!
The main dish, "sea bream shabu shabu," is best enjoyed after being quickly dipped in hot water and then in ponzu sauce.

Tajima Beef Sukiyaki Course


Everyone loves it! Sukiyaki with Tajima beef! It comes with Tajima-grown Koshihikari rice, so try meat → rice → meat → beer? sake? It's sure to go well!
